Character Template
Below is the original character template for the RPG. You are to fill out said template and post it here so as to await a designated moderator's arrival. They will either approve or deny the profile, shortly thereafter they will move the thread to the appropriate section. Do note that you are only allowed a maximum of five characters.
General Information
Name:
Nickname: (Optional)
Age:
Height:
Weight:
Birthplace: Whereabouts on the planet your character was born. No, we will not accept other worlds.
Alignment: Good, Neutral or Evil. Feel free to expand with more detail here. We don't complain about depth.
Race: Human, Merman/Mermaid, Android/Robot, Demi-Human
Extended Information
Appearance: For your character's appearance, we will be requiring a written description of at least 200 words. Make sure you describe your character's physical features such as their build and complexion among other things aside from the typical clothing that most people associate with being the appearance. We will not accept any descriptions or images of characters from franchises relating to anime/video games/tv/movies/etc.
Personality: Probably the most important part of a character because it almost definitely defines your path in the RPG. We will be requiring a minimum of 150 words for the personality, which isn't difficult to achieve. Remember to include the general way of thinking that your character possesses, how they react under certain situations and their out-look on life. Let's not go stereotypical with fully emo characters that make Squall and Cloud look like optimists, because they're boring and unoriginal.
Lifestyle: This section allows you to give more of an overall sum-up of your character's way of life. Any other little details that you can think of to give us more of an insight into your character can be listed here, such things as hobbies, whether they have an occupation or perhaps a love interest. We expect there to be a well-constructed paragraph at the least to describe what your character basically does in their spare time. There are plenty of things to list. Listing your occupation is mandatory, even if it is something mundane like "Adventurer".
Abilities: You're allowed one ability upon having created an original character. As you progress in the RPG, I'll allow more dependent upon how many stars you acquire.
Elemental Affinity: Whatever element your character is allocated to (Here is the link to the elements table: Elements)
(Note that the only elements you can start out with are level one elements. You can only have one to begin with. The element you begin HAS to share your affinity. Elements have weaknesses as well, of which is displayed below:)
Red and Blue are opposed
Yellow and Green are opposed
Black and White are opposed
Element Grid
Post a link to your Element Grid here.
(You'll be allowed two boxes for your first section upon creating your character. One for your ability and another for your element)
Inventory
Weapon: What your character uses as their primary method of physical attack, essentially. Your weapons cannot have any enchantments placed upon them. You're allowed a maximum of two weapons upon creation, however you will be judged after creation so don't think you'll get way with too much.
Armour: Completely optional, but naturally providing extra defense to your characters depending on the efficiency of the armour. We will not be allowing any armour that is essentially impenetrable or extremely durable whilst being extraordinarily light. If you choose to wear fully-plated mail armour, then your character will inevitably be slower.
Other: Any other items that your character carry around with them can be listed here. Essentially, your accessories may have enchantments placed upon them, however within reason.
History
Background: The story of your character, how they got to where they are now and what events happened in their life occurred to make them whatever they are today. Be original with this, we do not like Mary Sue or John Doe storylines here. We expect at least 500 words and a quality biography as a minimum here. 500 words for a biography is nothing compared to most top RP sites and isn't difficult to do if you put your mind to it. If you can't meet that requirement, you shouldn't be role-playing. Simple as that.
Sample Post: We will also need a sample post of you role-playing in character as proof that you can in fact role-play to an adequate standard. A minimum of 200 words is needed here, which should be easy for anybody to create. It's seriously not difficult to come up with that much in a basic post, so we don't want to hear any complaints. The minimum word count is that which we expect all of our members to reach when they make posts around the forum, so if you can't meet it, better start improving fast.
